Each year, the first Friday of February is a day when we call attention to the #1 killer of women: heart disease. It is also a day when we celebrate the women who are taking action to protect their hearts.

As the year 2012 closes, we want to thank all of our wonderful employees for their hard work, loyalty and dedication to All Star Glass.  Especially our Employee of the Month, AL S., our IT Manager, as it is a rare occurrence for Al to walk through the door in the morning without almost immediately receiving a call from one of the stores with a computer or phone problem.  Here at the corporate office, we all turn to Al for help with fax machines, copiers, and “Al, my speakers aren’t working”.

The All Star Glass Breast Friends is pleased to announce that we completed the 5K Race for a Cure on Sunday along with almost 17,000 other participants in Balboa Park. Our team of 45 employees, friends and family members walked the event for the first time representing All Star Glass. Our goal was to raise awareness of breast cancer and support an organization dedicated to research and education in finding a cure for breast cancer. We even had two breast cancer survivors walking with our team!
